Back to News

Vernon arrived in our care at the beginning of May. He was a stray and unfortunately had no identification, and no owner has called looking for this sweet man. Vernon is in good spirits, bright eyed and bushy tailed, he knows there is a loving family out there waiting for their puurrfect companion! Vernon is a 2-year-old brown tabby with a bright white face and chest, he’s an easy going fellow, and gets along well with other cats! He is a very playful boy, some of his favorite toys are crinkle balls and all things catnip. Vernon doesn't mind being picked up and seems to really enjoy being snuggled and loved on. He has the sweetest meow. We believe Vern would do well in a home with respectful kiddos. It has been noted while in care, he eats as though every meal is his last and because of this, will require a slow feeder in his new home. These feeders are designed to slow hangry cats from eating their food too quickly- which often results in an upset stomach. Vern has sensitive skin, and will require a diet of Z/D dry cat food- this special formula is tailored to support his skin and food sensitivities. This stunning young lad is ready to hit the road, we’ll surely miss him as he drives away to start his new life, but our hearts are full knowing it’s finally Vernon’s turn at his happily ever after.

He has been neutered, dewormed, received core vaccines, as well as his rabies vaccine. Vern will also be microchipped- once adopted. His new parents will receive 4 weeks’ free trial pet insurance, and some extras from our community partners.

Opt to adopt, open your heart and home to a deserving cat like Vernon today!
