Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Walter came to Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward as a stray and was never claimed. He had a rough life and came to us in poor condition, needing the loving care of staff. Walter didn’t waste any time adapting to life inside the shelter and quickly showed us his big personality. He is an independent cat, who enjoys life on his own terms, including how he gets affection from the humans in his life. Walter prefers to keep all four of his paws in the ground, he does not want to picked up. He will require a home that understands his independence and will accept him for who he is. The way to Walter’s heart is through his stomach. He absolutely loves food and becomes excited at mealtimes. Walter is looking for a home where he can be the king of his castle with no other animals or young children. He is not overly playful but does love catnip. He has not been dog tested but this can be arranged with an approved application.
If you are interested in meeting Walter, you can go to our website www.quintehumanesociety.com and fill out an adoption application under the Adoption tab. Applications can be emailed to qhs@quintehumanesociety.com and a staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet him.
