Yankee is an approximately 3-year-old male hound mix. He came to us as a transfer from a local pound facility. Yankee came in a bit underweight, and is currently being fed puppy food to help him gain some weight back. He had fleas, which has caused him to have some hair loss at the base of his tail where he has been rubbing. We do not know his history, but can tell that he has not had any obedience training, so that is something his new family would need to look into. He does get excited and jumpy but he is still young and could be taught how to behave like a proper dog. We are still learning how he walks on leash, since he has only been here for 1 day. Yankee is a very friendly dog who just gets so excited to meet new people. He gets the whole body wiggle when he thinks you are going to give him attention.
