Clifford is a large and beautiful 2-year-old neutered male black cat.  He was brought in as a stray and never claimed.  When Clifford got here he was in pretty rough shape with some wounds, and wasn’t feeling too generous towards human kind.  However, under the loving care of our staff, he has turned into a friendly boy and can be very affectionate after just a little initial shyness.  Rub his cheeks and chin and he’s yours, and will melt into you like butter. He prefers to keep his feet on the ground though and not be carried around. As Clifford was an outside cat, he would very much enjoy a home that could spoil him with a catio, or screened in porch/sunroom where he can feel the breeze in his whiskers and smell all of the great outdoors. Clifford would not be opposed to living his life as a barn cat either. He truly hates being caged up and much prefers to have an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, as this is likely all he’s ever known. He would make a really great barn cat as he is friendly and will allow pets but will also do his thing, without getting in the way too much.
