Meet Jersey! She has been with us for over a month now. She is a 5-year-old spayed female who is declawed (front paws). She will need to be an indoor only cat. Jersey is an extremely friendly and social cat. She is always at the front of the cage and rushing to be pet when you open the door. Jersey will need to be brushed frequently because she is overweight, she does have trouble with grooming herself at the moment. She is currently on a weight loss diet, which she will need to continue in her new home. She is looking for a family that can take the time to portion feed her and play with her, to help her lose the weight. Jersey is good with people of all ages including young children. She is a pretty relaxed cat. Jersey does not like other cats at all, and would like to be the only cat in her new home. She has lived with dogs though, and got along fine with them. Jersey is a very sweet girl and she can’t wait to meet her new people!

Cat Adoption Fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop.
