Kalanchoe is an approximately 3-year-old male black smoke tabby. He is a gorgeous boy with unique colouring. Kalanchoe came to us from a farm colony where he was living with quite a few other cats. He is good with other cats, and would do well with a nice social kitty friend. This would help bring him out of his shell as he is very shy here at the shelter. Kalanchoe would like a home without dogs and children as they are scary for him He is looking for a new home that understand he is going to take some time to get settled into his new home and to trust his new human friends. He is not mean, he doesn’t hiss or swat at us, he is just very scared in the new environment here. He does like to be pet, but is still wary of human contact. Kalanchoe has had some type of eye injury in the past, but they have healed, are not bothering him and he sees just fine. If you would like to meet Kalanchoe, stop by the shelter and ask staff about him, they can show you were he is currently housed as he is in a staff only area.

Cat Adoption Fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items needed: Small cat scratch boxes or toys (that will fit in our cages), kitten pate canned food, small garbage cans with lids, heavy duty garbage bags & a squeegee for our dog area.
