Mercury is an 11-year-old neutered male. He is a brown tabby with white. He is a very handsome older boy who is just looking for a quiet home to settle into. Mercury is a little bit shy, but very friendly once he knows you want to give him affection. He likes to cuddle and have his belly rubbed. Mercury needs to be on a weight loss diet, as he currently weighs just over 18lbs. He is great with adults, but would prefer a home with no children, as they stress him out, which causes him to hide. Mercury has lived with other cats in the past and got along fine with them. He would prefer a home with no dogs though. Mercury just wants to find a nice quiet place to live, where he can be showered in attention, and sit in a window watching the world outside. Cat Adoption fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart  & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop.
