Monty is a 1.5-year-old male cat. He is a brown tabby & white. He was originally a stray, found in Quinte West, but the finder could not keep him. He is a very nice cat. He comes to the front of the cage and enjoys getting pet and loved on. He will let you pick him up and snuggle him without any struggle at all. He is still young and playful and enjoys having a selection of toys to choose from. We have not noticed that he has a favourite as of yet. Because he was a stray, we are unsure how he is with other animals or children. He can be tested with dogs or cats, if someone was interested in adopting him and had other pets. Monty would likely do fine in a home that had older children, or even younger cat experienced children, being that he is still young himself and seems to adjust well to new situations.

Cat Adoption fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart, Bestie’s Pet Spa & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items needed: With kitten season coming we are stocking up on KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer), canned wet kitten food (pate) and extra small sized litter boxes for kittens.
