|
Shasta was originally brought to QHS as a stray and then adopted from QHS but unfortunately things didn't work out. Shasta is a HIGH energy dog, who still needs obedience and house training. Think of Shasta like a currently untrained pup. He is a very smart boy who learns quickly and shows great promise; if he's given the time, patience and dedication for his training needs. Shasta would prefer to be the only pet in the household. He does not like to share any of his space with other male dogs and he's picky with his female doggy friends. He will require a fully fenced in yard, as he likes to run (typical husky!) and he will take off, if not on a leash. Shasta would like a home, where people are home a lot. He has separation anxiety and therefore crate training is recommended. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly and is VERY affectionate once he gets to know you. Shasta is not suitable for apartment living. He has never lived with or been around children before. Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella vaccination, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks free pet insurance and a free vet exam.
